   Native Americans arrived in America about 15-20.000 B.C. By this time, China nor Japan existed, so there were any Japanese nor Chinese people.
   Asia is only a geographical concept. If native Americans have lived in America for millenia, then I don’t see any reason to call them Asians. That doesn’t mean that most of their ancestors lived in Asia before they reached America. But also lived in Asia the ancestors of Europeans, and in Africa the ancestors of most human beings.
   Of course, many of these indigeneous people mixed with Europeans, specially in South America, and they left their cultures and languages. It’s quite likely they have some Arabic ancestry, as well as African and Asian.

   There was a time when the Bering Straits between Russia and Alaska were connected. Asians hunted animals and found their way across the Bering Strait to what is now North America. If you look at Native Alaskans and Native American Indians, they have Asian features. This is because their ancestors are from Asia.
