Not satisfied with criticising Cranial Osteopathy the ————- ——- has moved onto Visceral Manual techniques. I would say Visceral osteopathy but these techniques are widely practiced by Physio’s Chiropractors and a few Doctors as well as Osteopaths. The asked hadn’t actually heard of these techniques until I mentioned them yesterday. If he’d done better research he would have asked a different question Please keep reading.

So do they stay static during respiration? What about during general locomotion? Actually this is correct.

Yep it sits below the diaphragm and moves a couple of cm Superior/inferior + medial/lateral during Respiration. Collectively this adds up to 600M per day.

Livers are mobile suspeded by ligaments which attach to other structures. All of those structures are mobile.

He trained as a Physio-therapist 1st. He then did a post grad course in Osteopathy at the ESO. During practice he noticed patients with long term chronic musculo-skeletal problems seemed to improve after visiting legendary folk healers who worked on their abdomens. He then went on to Observe them and developed his techniques after studying the anatomy of the body and how you can affect these organs. Because of th Neuro feedback they subsequently affect the musculo-skeletal system when functioning correctly.

Any transplant surgeon will tell you that an organ that has failed has sclerosed and/or attached to its surrounding structures so it doesn’t move. In normal function Organs slide over each other. Any Internal medicine MD will tell you this.

The Liver has 500+ functions that we know of. Glissons Capsule surrounds the Liver. Its a film of Neural tissue that innervates with every hepato-cyte the liver contains.
Dr. Barral knows this because he still continues to study anatomy every day. He has done countless dissections of Human cadavers on top of that and he still feels there is much to learn.
You can survive happily with 1 kidney, 1 lung, without your spleen or have more than 1/2 of your GI tract removed and still function.
How long would you last without a Liver?
What would be appropriate for the Liver from medical perspective other than showing it the most respect?
Sticking a needle in it and doing a biopsy perhaps?

My 2 year old son has a really severe case of Eczema. It is to the point of he is scratching himself until he bleeds. I don`t know what to do for him anymore. The doctors have given us so many different medications, lotions, and prescription medications to keep him from itching but none of this is working. I swear its like his body gets used to the medicine and it does not work anymore.
We have tried :
Derma Smooth
Aquaphor
Cetaphil
Vaseline
and tons of other things. He can`t use any Aveeno products because he is allergic to oat.
He is also allergic to peanut, Cow milk protein (so all dairy products are a no go), and eggs.
Also if you have any alternative to milk that he can use please let me know and any foods that a 2 year old would like. He loves mac and cheese that is his favorite food so if you know another recipe without the cow mile protein that would be great too!
