Why Are Questions About Marijuana Now Allowed In The Alternative Medicine Category?

I’ve asked three perfectly reasonable questions about marijuana on Y!A over a long period of time and they were all reported and taken down. I appealed one and got denied. I normally don’t bother to appeal because of the threat of being penalized points if they disagree.
Does Yahoo Answers discriminate against marijuana as an alternative medicine?

Ulcerative Colitis Disabled To Work Benifit?

I’m currently 25 years. I was working 3 years until I got fired, after that I got unemployment help for about a year and it ran out. Now 3 years later I haven’t found a job and worst part is I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis which is making it impossible for me to even really work. I’m trying to figure out if and how I could get benefit from government because I’m not able to work or even look for the job that I want to work. I’m taking medications for my condition and trying to get better by trying different herbs from Chinese doctors, last resort is deadly surgery but for now I need some help, in the last 2 years I was just living of the money I had saved up and I have also sold away many of my belongings just to survive. Long story short is, can I get disabled benefit after not being employed for over 3 years, my disability started now and not during time period of previous work.
