Group the different sCAM therapies? Yes, perhaps. In order of absurdity/implausibility..
Quackery of the highest order:
Homeopathy
Reiki.
Faith Healing
Medium:
Acupuncture
Reflexology
Low
Herbal
Chiropractic (Mr E style chiropractic would be a few categories up ^)
UK trained Osteopaths’
etc.
Edit, I knew I was missing some, JLI. I think I’ve been a bit too lenient on Lighty. After his comments yesterday I feel we should bump him up to category 1. His entire mindset concerns me
I´ll add Iridology and ear candling to Rhianna´s list. I think I would place both of them in the top category (may bordering the medium category). Homeopathy tops the list.
ETA:
Yes Rhianna. Craniosacral therapy is definitely in category 1. I still remember the Canadian systematic review you posted last spring which he (Lighty) refused to read and which met all his points of speculated criticism. I can’t find the post, but here is the review: http://faculty.une.edu/com/jnorton/BCOHT…
