I Have Vitaligo, Is There A Cure Or Treatment?

Sorry, my spelling is not correct,, I have the skin condition, Vitaligo, It is the depletion of pigment in the skin. I have it on my hands,wrist, fingers and arms, also on my private areas, I have heard it is not fatal or contagous to others. Although quite embarrassing. My Chinese girlfriend has not seen this ailment before and is quite concerned she will be, “infected” by coming in contact with me. I can surely understand her concerns. Is there treatments for this kind of skin disorder?
