I hear Chiropractice (sp?) so much that I thought it was conventional medicine. Is that due to effectiveness, popularity or both?

the ignorant, wilfully and otherwise, consider chiropractic a form of therapeutics/medicine. it is not, and if they took a minute to check, their ignorance problem would be solved. many disdain the truth,however, and there is no cure for invincible ignorance and outright lying.
Chiropractory is complicated.
It is basically a form of physical therapy. It works to temporarily relieve pain. In this regard, it is conventional medicine.
However, some chiropractors claim they can do other things like cure colds and other extremely implausible remedies. These people are quacks who fall under the alternative title.
