Hi, my mom doesn’t know english so she works at a chinese restaurant. that place is extremely hot and it has no windows. My mom’s health got worst year after year because of the harsh working environment… and she make little money too. is there a job that that requires no english or little english and at least have some fresh air?

Well, what language does she speak? Chinese?
I work in refugee resettlement. We place many of our non-English-speaking clients in hotel cleaning jobs. If she speaks Spanish she could look into agricultural or construction work. Places like FedEx and UPS sometimes hire non-native English speakers to do warehouse jobs, but she would probably need a minimum English level to apply there. Of course, there are pros and cons to all these jobs.
I would recommend she contact people in her native community – they certainly know where other people who speak her language (presumably with similar skill levels) have found employment, and they may be able to recommend her.
I am assuming she is legally able to work in the US – if not, her options are significantly limited. She also should find an ESL class as quickly as possible so her language skills (or lack thereof) do not hold her back.
maybe farming, i am from a community in ohio that is surrounded by farms. For some unexplainable reason we have gotten many mexican immigrants here (no offense but most are likely illegal) and many speak little or no english. They all seem to work at the farms, don’t ask me how they know what they are supposed to be doing considering i doubt the farmers know spanish but if they can do it your mom may be able to get a job at a farm or nursery too. She will at least be getting fresh air even though it is hard work and doubt she will make much more than what she already is making. Good luck

No, but your mom can learn an english class and become more fluent in the language
